Today I introduced the Poe Project (slides 20-24), and you had individual reading time (see slide 22 for directions). You need to finish reading and bring in the individual work for group time tomorrow.

Today we took brief notes on Dark Romantics (slides 1-18), and then started analyzing Batman Returns (questions on slide 19). No homework tonight.
Early America Homework Packet
Today we took brief notes on Romanticism (slides 1-21), and then analyzed "Thanatopsis". No homework over the weekend!
Today we moved into our next unit, the -Isms unit, by looking at Rationalist. We took some brief notes, analyzed the Declaration of Independence, and then created our own 13 Virtues sign inspired by Benjamin Franklin. No homework!
Today we analyzed Anne Bradstreet poetry (slides 20-27). Homework: read the Dec. of Independence for tomorrow. You should be able to answer "determine the purpose of the Declaration of Independence".
Vocabulary Assignment
Today we discussed "Sinners" and did a group Four Square activity. No homework, but please make sure you bring in the signed syllabus by tomorrow.
Today we turned in the writing assessment, took brief notes on Puritans (slides 1-14), then had time to work on the "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" homework reading. Please finish the reading and questions for tomorrow.
Spartan Project Day! We did an I Am Poem (see me Monday for directions, or see slide 7). Writing assessment is due Monday.
