Today you took your final exam for English and history.
I cannot thank you enough for an amazing, fun, crazy, spirited, and wonderful year. I will cherish the time we all spent together in our Woldy/Gai family!

Today we reviewed for the final exam.
We will see you on Friday for you final exam. Good luck with finals tomorrow and Monday! Today we wrote an updated I Am Poem (if you were absent, make sure you do this and give it to me ASAP):
Bring any review questions you have for our in-class review session tomorrow! No 3rd and 4th period due to graduation and the senior assembly.
Today we shared 2000-present literature presentations. No homework tonight or over the weekend.
I introduced the final project, a 2000-present literature presentation. Monday night (or during class), you will need to let me know which topic you would like and I will give you approval (or push you in another direction if the topic does not work). The rest of the time Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is work time. Please make sure you email me the presentation before the start of 3rd period on Thursday!
I introduced your assessment for the 90s, which is a roots tracing project. Please see slides 57-59 for the assignment and some possible ideas. These are due Monday at the start of class for a gallery walk! Don't forget: vocab 6 (last one!) is due Friday by 10pm on turnitin.com.
Today was The Glass Castle assessment. If you were absent, you can make up the test on Thursday after school, or Friday morning (we have a late start because of the Biology EOC).
Today we did peer reviews for book clubs (slide 32), we then reviewed for the assessment tomorrow (see slides 25-26 for the questions). This is open note/open book, and you can bring your job sheets too. Any time left in the period was study time or time to work on the Cultural Brochure (see Friday's blog post for the information).
