Today we discussed and reviewed Act II, then watched the film version of Act II. Homework tonight: read Act III pages 83-100 (in the play book) or 180-184 (in the literature books, PDF attached here).

Today we finished Act I, then discussed the Act (slide 33-34). Don't forget to submit your Junior Project 3 Level Outline by 3/19.
Today we discussed the Overture and your initial thoughts (slide 28), then started reading Act I as a whole class (slides 29-32). No homework.

Today we started working on our The Crucible unit, by reading and analyzing the poem "Half-Hanged Mary" by Margaret Atwood. We took some quick notes on witches (slides 1-15), added another stanza to the poem (slide 17), and then answered some discussion questions.
