Today I introduced the final for the class: an electronic children's book. Please spend today reviewing the PowerPoint, directions, expectations, and the rubric. I do have an optional Zoom meeting tomorrow where you can bring any questions you have. This book can be done alone or with a partner (remember social distancing, so please collaborate electronically and not in person), and will be due June 5th by 10pm on turnitin.com.

I will also be hosting a Zoom session today if you want to ask questions or just check-in. These three days should be spent finalizing and submitting your literary analysis essay (1200-1500 words with a Works Cited Page) to turnitin.com by 10pm Wednesday, 5/13. I would also encourage you to have someone peer edit your essay before you submit the final.
This week should be spent working on the rough draft, which is due on Friday by 10pm on turnitin.com (Literary Analysis Essay Revision 2). The rough draft should meet the word count of 1200-1500 and must have a Works Cited Page.
Today you should review the feedback I left on your outlines, review the PowerPoint with directions for the essay (slides 1-6), email me with any questions. We are going to try a Zoom session on Thursday for any questions.
